Q: Will this work with both InfiniBand EDR and 100GbE ports?
A: Yes, provided the host devices support the respective protocol on QSFP28; the AOC itself is protocol-agnostic at the electrical interface.

Q: Is any additional transceiver required?
A: No. The optics are integrated into the cable ends.

Q: Can this be used with breakout adapters?
A: This is a straight 1x100G QSFP28-to-QSFP28 cable and is not for breakout to multiple ports.

Q: Is cleaning or inspection of fiber connectors needed?
A: No LC connectors are exposed; standard handling of the integrated QSFP28 ends is sufficient.
