The NVIDIA Quantum QM8700 is a managed 1U HDR InfiniBand switch with 40 QSFP56 ports running at 200Gb/s, built on the Quantum ASIC for non-blocking, low-latency fabrics. This variant features an x86 dual-core management CPU running MLNX-OS, dual AC power supplies, C2P (connector-to-power) airflow and a rail kit for rack installation. It suits top-of-rack leaf or spine roles in HPC, AI and cloud or storage clusters, from small deployments through to very large fabrics.
