Description

The NVIDIA Skyway is a 2U InfiniBand-to-Ethernet gateway appliance that bridges HDR, HDR100 and EDR InfiniBand fabrics to 100/200GbE Ethernet networks and storage. This 8x IB + 8x Ethernet configuration uses 8x ConnectX-6 VPI HDR/200GbE adapters for hardware forwarding of IP packets, with up to 1.6Tb/s of aggregate throughput. Dual 1+1 redundant AC power supplies and the MLNX-GW operating system make it suited to HPC, AI and data centre deployments that need line-rate bridging between InfiniBand and Ethernet.
