FAQs

Q: What’s the difference between TX2 and TX2i?
A: TX2i is an industrial-focused variant designed for harsher environments and long-life availability, with the same CPU/GPU architecture and software stack compatibility.

Q: Which software stack is supported?
A: Use NVIDIA JetPack (Ubuntu-based) for CUDA, cuDNN, TensorRT, multimedia, and BSP support for the dev kit and production modules.

Q: How many cameras can I connect?
A: The developer carrier exposes CSI-2 interfaces supporting multiple MIPI CSI cameras (availability depends on carrier pinout and sensor configuration).

Q: Does the dev kit include onboard storage?
A: The module provides eMMC; the carrier also supports microSD for OS and data. Actual capacities depend on the specific module and media used.

Q: Is PoE supported?
A: Native Ethernet is RJ45 Gigabit. PoE can be added via external PoE splitters or PoE-capable carrier accessories.
