Description

The Meraki MX68 is a cloud-managed security and SD-WAN appliance built for small branch offices with up to around 50 client devices. It combines a stateful firewall, site-to-site VPN and SD-WAN in a compact desktop or wall-mount unit managed through the Meraki Dashboard.

The MX68 provides two Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports for dual-uplink SD-WAN and ten Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, two of which supply PoE for attached devices. Firewall throughput is rated at 450 Mbps, with 300 Mbps of advanced security throughput and up to 200 Mbps of VPN throughput. It supports up to 50 concurrent VPN tunnels, and a USB port allows cellular modem failover. There is no integrated Wi-Fi or cellular radio.

This MX68-HW SKU is hardware only. A Meraki MX68 licence (Enterprise, Advanced Security or SD-WAN Plus) is purchased separately and claimed in the Meraki Dashboard before the appliance can operate.
