Description
This 32GB eUSB flash memory module is an optional storage accessory for the Catalyst 9800 Series CW9800L wireless controller. It gives the controller additional local storage for containerised application hosting, which suits small and medium enterprise, campus and branch wireless deployments.
The module provides 32 GB of eUSB flash and is designed for the CW9800L only. It complements the controller's 32GB on-board pSLC eMMC bulk flash, which supports optional eUSB. The module is passive and draws power from the host controller, so no separate power supply is needed. No licence is required for the module itself, although the CW9800L needs its own Cisco wireless licensing.
The CW9800L runs Cisco IOS XE 17.18.2 or later and supports up to 500 access points and 10,000 clients. Cisco offers this module as an order-time option for the CW9800L, so confirm it suits your deployment before planning an application hosting build.
