FAQs

Q: Is this compatible with standard 100GBASE-LR4 optics on the far end?
A: Yes. Each channel is 100GBASE-LR4 and interoperates with compliant LR4 optics up to 10 km on SMF.

Q: What patch cords are recommended?
A: Use single-mode CS-to-dual-LC duplex breakout cords if connecting to LC-based panels or optics.

Q: Does the QSFP-DD port need breakout support?
A: Yes, the host must support 2x100G breakout mode.

Q: Can this module operate over multimode fiber?
A: No. It is designed for single-mode fiber only.
