FAQs

Q: Will this work in QSFP28 (100G) ports?
A: No. This is a QSFP56 200G passive DAC and requires QSFP56-capable 200G ports. Check device compatibility prior to purchase.

Q: What is the difference between passive and active DAC?
A: Passive DACs have no signal conditioning and use near-zero power, ideal for very short distances. Active DACs include integrated electronics for longer reaches.

Q: Do I need to configure anything for it to work?
A: Usually no—most devices auto-negotiate the link when both ends support QSFP56 200G DACs. Ensure both ports are enabled and configured for the correct speed.
