Description

Flexible 200Gb VPI adapter delivering HDR InfiniBand and 200GbE on a single QSFP56 port for HPC, AI, and NVMe-oF storage fabrics. PCIe 4.0 x16 ensures full-lane bandwidth, with advanced offloads (RoCEv2 RDMA, OVS/ASAP2, virtualization SR-IOV) to lower latency and CPU load. Ideal for modern HPE ProLiant deployments needing low-jitter, lossless fabrics and high-throughput Ethernet.

Features

- 200G performance with ultra-low latency for HPC, AI/ML, and storage fabrics
- VPI flexibility: switch between HDR InfiniBand and 200GbE as needed
- PCIe 4.0 x16 interface to maximize host-to-NIC bandwidth
- Advanced offloads (RDMA/RoCEv2, OVS/ASAP2) to free CPU cycles
- Broad OS and hypervisor support for easy integration in HPE environments

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

Q: Can this adapter run both Ethernet and InfiniBand at the same time?
A: It is a VPI adapter; each port can be configured for either Ethernet or InfiniBand at a time (not simultaneously on the same port).

Q: What cabling/transceivers are supported?
A: QSFP56 DAC/AOC and QSFP56 optical modules for 200G. It is backward compatible with QSFP28 modules/cables for 100G/40G operation where supported.

Q: Does it require PCIe 4.0 to operate?
A: It operates in PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 slots, but PCIe 4.0 x16 is recommended to realize full 200G performance.

Q: Is RoCE v2 supported for Ethernet fabrics?
A: Yes, RoCE v2 RDMA is supported to reduce latency and CPU overhead on Ethernet networks.

Q: Which operating systems are supported?
A: Major Linux distributions, VMware ESXi, and Windows Server are supported with appropriate vendor driver versions.
