CSR4 is an extended-reach variant with higher optical budget, delivering 300m on OM3 and 400m on OM4, compared to SR4's 100m on OM3 and 150m on OM4. CSR4 and SR4 modules are interoperable, but the link distance is limited by the shorter-reach module.
