The NVIDIA L40S is a passively cooled, dual-slot full-height, full-length GPU accelerator with 48GB of ECC GDDR6 memory and a 350W power rating, supplied for the Cisco UCS X-Series platform. Built on the Ada Lovelace architecture with fourth-generation Tensor Cores, it is aimed at generative AI, LLM inference and graphics-intensive data centre workloads. It is supported in the UCS X440p PCIe Node on Riser Type A, making it suited to dense AI and compute deployments in X9508 chassis.
