FAQs

Q: Will this work with my switch and NIC?
A: Ensure both endpoints support 50G SFP56 DACs and that the cable coding is compatible with your vendors or that your hardware accepts generic coding.

Q: Is this cable active?
A: No. It is a passive DAC with near-zero power draw and extremely low latency.

Q: Can I use this cable for breakout connections?
A: No. SFP56 is single-lane and does not support breakouts.

Q: What environments is this best suited for?
A: Top-of-rack to adjacent-rack links in data centers where low cost, low power, and low latency are priorities.

Q: Any handling recommendations?
A: Avoid sharp bends and kinks; respect a bend radius of approximately 10× cable diameter.
