FAQs

Q: Does this model provide PoE power?
A: No. It is a Non-PoE variant. Use external PoE injectors or a PoE switch if you need to power devices.

Q: Are the 1G uplinks SFP-only?
A: They are combo uplinks. Each uplink can use either the RJ-45 1G copper port or the SFP slot, one active per combo pair.

Q: Can it route between VLANs?
A: Yes. It supports IPv4/IPv6 static routing for inter-VLAN routing (no dynamic routing protocols).

Q: Is it fanless?
A: Yes, the compact 8-port model is typically fanless for silent operation.

Q: Which SFPs are supported?
A: Use standard 1G SFP modules such as 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX, or 1000BASE-T SFP (subject to switch SFP support).
