Description

The Cisco QSFP-100G-SR-S is a 100GBASE-SR1 pluggable optical transceiver designed for short-reach high-speed connectivity in data centers and enterprise networks. Supporting link lengths of 70 meters over OM3 and 100 meters over OM4/OM5 multimode fiber via duplex LC connectors, it uses PAM4 modulation to carry 100 Gigabit Ethernet over a single wavelength at 850nm. The module is IEEE 802.3 100GBASE-SR1 compliant and can interoperate with 400G transceivers via fiber breakout cables.
