Q: What fiber and connector do I need for this module?
A: Use OS2 single‑mode fiber with an MPO-12 cable (Type-B polarity). The module uses 8 active fibers within the MPO interface.

Q: How does PSM4 differ from CWDM4?
A: PSM4 uses 4 parallel fibers in each direction over SMF via MPO, while CWDM4 multiplexes 4 wavelengths over a duplex LC pair. PSM4 is ideal for short SMF runs within rows.

Q: Can I break this out to 4x 25G?
A: Yes, with compatible 4x25G PSM4 optics and an MPO-to-LC breakout harness, you can build 4x25G links over SMF.

Q: Is DOM/DDM supported?
A: Yes, real-time diagnostics such as temperature, voltage, and optical power are supported.

Q: What polarity should the MPO cable use?
