Q: What is the difference between this and standard airflow models?
A: The BA designation indicates reversed airflow with port-side intake, meaning cool air is drawn in from the front (port side) and exhausted out the back. This is designed for data centers with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations where the cold aisle faces the front of the rack.

Q: Does this switch support Power over Ethernet?
A: No, the N3K-C3048-BA-L3 does not support PoE or PoE+. All 48 RJ45 ports are data-only ports. If you require PoE capability, consider alternative Nexus models with PoE support.
