FAQs

Q: Will this work on POTS lines (Annex A)?
A: No. This model is for ADSL over ISDN (Annex B) lines only.

Q: Can the BRI S/T be used for automatic failover?
A: Yes, configure dial-backup so traffic fails over to ISDN when DSL is unavailable.

Q: Is Annex M supported?
A: This Annex B variant targets standard ADSL2/2+ profiles; Annex M is not a primary feature.

Q: Do I need an NT1?
A: The port is S/T (TE). If the telco presents a U interface, an external NT1 is required.

Q: What router families are supported?
A: ISR 1800/2800/3800 and ISR G2 1900/2900/3900 with HWIC slots.
