Description

High-performance 1RU security appliance designed for data center and campus edges. Runs in ASA mode for stateful firewalling, site-to-site/remote-access VPN, high availability, and clustering. Two front network module bays support flexible SFP+/QSFP interface modules for high-density 10/40G connectivity (module-dependent). Can be reimaged to FTD if desired and managed via FXOS/ASDM or Firepower Management Center when using FirePOWER services.

A: Yes. Firepower 4100 hardware can be reimaged between ASA and FTD; licenses and configuration migration are required.

Q: How is it managed?
