Description

High-performance DWDM 10G XFP for long-reach single-mode links up to 40 km. Tuned to 1545.32 nm on the ITU-T C-band 100 GHz grid, it supports IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER and provides Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics. Hot-swappable XFP MSA design with duplex LC interface for easy deployment in DWDM or point-to-point builds. Ideal for metro, campus backbone, and aggregation uplinks.

Features

- Tuned DWDM 1545.32 nm for dense wavelength deployments
- 10GBASE-ER optics for long-reach 40 km links
- Hot-swappable XFP for simple maintenance and upgrades
- DOM-enabled for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
- Duplex LC interface on OS1/OS2 SMF

Warranty

All products sold by XS Network Tech include a 12-month warranty on both new and used items. Our in-house technical team thoroughly tests used hardware prior to sale to ensure enterprise-grade reliability.

FAQs

FAQs

Q: Is a matching wavelength required on both ends?
A: Yes. For point-to-point links without a DWDM mux, use the same wavelength XFP at both ends. In muxed DWDM systems, select wavelengths according to the mux channel plan.

Q: Does this module support DOM?
A: Yes. It provides Digital Optical Monitoring for parameters such as temperature, Tx/Rx power, and supply voltage.

Q: What fiber type and connectors are required?
A: Use OS1/OS2 single-mode fiber with duplex LC connectors.

Q: Can it achieve 40 km without amplifiers?
A: Yes, up to 40 km is supported assuming an appropriate optical loss budget and quality SMF. Actual distance depends on fiber attenuation and splice/connector losses.

Q: Is it compatible with DWDM multiplexers?
A: Yes. It is tuned to an ITU-T 100 GHz C-band channel and is suitable for use with matching DWDM mux/demux equipment.
