Description

This coaxial lightning arrestor is an antenna accessory for the Cisco Connected Grid Router 1000 Series. It is built for utility and field-area network deployments where external antenna cabling is exposed to lightning-induced surges, and it protects the router's antenna connection.

The arrestor uses an N-Male to N-Female connector pair, so it fits inline between the antenna feed and the router. It is a passive device and needs no power supply. This N-Male to N-Female version is the one specified for the CGR 1240.

For the CGR 1120, the related CGR-LA-NF-NF arrestor with N-Female to N-Female connectors is the matching part. It is also positioned for use with the Cisco IW3702 access point.
