Q: What is included with the Network Advantage license?
A: Network Advantage provides full Layer 3 routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), advanced virtualization with VRF-Lite, Cisco TrustSec for secure segmentation, StackWise Virtual, SD-Access fabric integration, and full programmability via APIs. It is ideal for complex campus networks requiring policy-based automation and advanced security.

Q: Can I increase the PoE budget beyond 445W?
A: Yes. You can add a secondary power supply or upgrade the default 715W PSU to an 1100W model (PWR-C1-1100WAC) to increase the PoE budget to 720W, enabling 30W PoE+ on all 24 ports simultaneously.

Q: Do I need to purchase uplink modules separately?
A: Yes. The C9300-24P-A ships with a modular uplink slot but no pre-installed network module. You must order the appropriate module based on your uplink requirements: C9300-NM-4G for 4x1G, C9300-NM-8X for 8x10G, or C9300-NM-2Q for 2x40G.

Q: Can I stack this switch with Catalyst 9300L models?
A: No. Modular uplink models (C9300/C9300X) use StackWise-480 and are not compatible with fixed uplink models (C9300L), which use StackWise-320. You can stack C9300-24P-A with other C9300 or C9300X models only.

Q: What devices can be powered by the PoE+ ports?
A: The 24 PoE+ ports support IEEE 802.3at devices requiring up to 30W per port, including Wi-Fi 6 access points, IP phones, surveillance cameras, building automation sensors, and digital signage displays.
