Cisco C-SM-16T4M2X is a Catalyst Edge Switch Service Module (SM) designed for Cisco Catalyst 8300 Series Edge Platforms, adding integrated branch switching with a mix of 1GbE, 2.5GbE Multigigabit and 10GbE uplinks.

• Downlinks: 16 x 1GbE RJ45 plus 4 x 2.5GbE Multigigabit RJ45
• Uplinks: 2 x 10GbE SFP+
• Use case: branch switching integrated into the Catalyst 8300 platform

Note: This is the non-PoE “T” variant of the 16-port SM family. Confirm IOS XE minimum version and platform compatibility for your specific Catalyst 8300 chassis before deployment.
