Description

A modular port adapter for Cisco ASR 9000 Series modular line cards, providing two QSFP+ cages for 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multimode or single-mode optics. Up to two adapters can be installed per modular line card for four 40G ports in total, making it a flexible way to add high-speed aggregation capacity to ASR 9000 chassis. QSFP or QSFP+ optics are required and are sold separately.
