Description

This 2-port 40 Gigabit Ethernet modular port adapter is designed for Cisco ASR 9000 Series modular line cards, providing up to 80 Gbps of aggregate throughput. It accepts QSFP+ optics such as 40GBASE-SR4 for multimode runs up to 100 m and 40GBASE-LR4 for single-mode runs up to 10 km. This is the FCM variant of the 2 x 40GE adapter, allowing network teams to mix port density, speed and optics on a single line card.
