Description

The 2-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet modular port adapter (MPA) plugs into the bays of ASR 9000 Series modular line cards, giving operators flexible 10GE port density per bay. It requires XFP optics, with the exact optic type (SR, LR or ER) determined by the XFP module installed. Suited to service provider and enterprise aggregation deployments that need to mix port speeds and optics on a single modular line card.
