Description

This Cisco ASR 9000 modular port adapter provides two 100 Gigabit Ethernet ports for the ASR 9000 400G and 200G modular line cards. It uses CFP2 or CPAK pluggable optics, with CPAK optics installed via a CFP2-CPAK adapter, rather than QSFP28 modules. It suits service provider and enterprise aggregation deployments that need high-density 100GE connectivity with mix-and-match flexibility across line card slots. Cisco IOS XR 6.0.1 or later is required.
