Description

The Cisco ASR 9000 20-port 1GE modular port adapter provides 20 Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports for high-density edge and aggregation deployments. This Flexible Consumption (-FC) variant of A9K-MPA-20X1GE installs in Mod80 modular line cards, with up to two port adapters per line card. It supports SFP, CWDM SFP, DWDM SFP and 100BASE-FX SFP optics, and includes Synchronous Ethernet and carrier-class OA&M tools.

- IEEE 802.3 compliant, full-duplex operation, IEEE 802.x flow control
- Per-port byte and packet counters for policy drops, oversubscription drops, CRC error drops, packet sizes, and unicast/multicast/broadcast packets
- Active/Link LED beside each SFP cage
- Carrier-class OA&M (NetFlow, 802.1ag, 802.3ah, Y.1731, IP SLA) and Synchronous Ethernet
- Can be paired with other MPAs (e.g. 4x10GE) in a single slot
