Description

This 40-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet line card is designed for ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers and delivers line-rate Ethernet and IP/MPLS edge services. It is the Packet Transport Optimized (-TR) variant, suited to mobile backhaul and TDM migration deployments that need transport-class timing. The card uses 20 double-stacked SFP cages and requires SFP transceivers, either fibre-optic or copper, to be fitted separately.
