Description

The 3kW AC Version 2 power module is a hot-swappable power supply for ASR 9000 Series aggregation services routers. It delivers 3000W of AC output as part of the Version 2 power system and supports pay-as-you-grow scaling with N+N redundant AC power. Suited to service provider and large network edge deployments where resilient AC power feeds and modular capacity expansion are required.

Q: Can AC and DC power modules be mixed in the same chassis?
A: No. Mixing AC and DC power modules is not supported, so a chassis must be populated with a single power type.

Q: How many modules can be installed per chassis?
A: Up to 8 modules in an ASR 9010 (4 per tray), up to 4 in an ASR 9006, and up to 16 in an ASR 9922 (4 per tray).

Q: What AC input does this module require?
A: It operates from 200-240 VAC nominal (180-264 VAC range) at 50/60 Hz, with a maximum input current of 15 A at 200 VAC.
