Description

This 800G port expansion card is an optional, removable line card for the compact ASR 9903 router, supplied with the IOS XR Flexible Consumption Model licence (300G entitlement out of 800G). It adds 48 physical ports, made up of 32 multirate 25GE/10GE SFP28/SFP+ ports and 16 10GE SFP+ ports, extending the fixed board on demand. It suits service provider and large enterprise aggregation deployments that need to scale port capacity as traffic grows, with online insertion and removal supported from IOS XR 7.8.1.
