Description

The A99-SFC2 is a second-generation switch fabric card (SFC2) for the Cisco ASR 9900 Series, supporting both ASR 9912 and ASR 9922 chassis. It provides a nonblocking, all-active distributed fabric with 230 Gbps per fabric card, designed to support high-density 1-, 10- and 100-Gigabit Ethernet line cards. With N+1 redundancy and hot-swappable online insertion and removal, it suits core and aggregation deployments where fabric capacity and resilience are critical.
