Description

The A99-SFC-T is a second-generation Switch Fabric Card T (SFC-T) for the Cisco ASR 9906 chassis. It provides a single-stage, nonblocking, packet-based switch fabric with 230 Gbps per fabric card, suited to high-density 1/10/100GbE line card deployments. N+1 fabric redundancy and hot-swappable (OIR) operation help keep forwarding running during maintenance. It is designed specifically for the ASR 9906 and requires Cisco IOS XR 6.3.1 or later.

Q: Which chassis is the A99-SFC-T compatible with?
A: It is designed for the Cisco ASR 9906 chassis only. The SFC-S is used in the ASR 9910, and the SFC2 is used in the ASR 9912 and ASR 9922.
