Description

The A99-SFC-S is a second-generation switch fabric card for the Cisco ASR 9910 chassis, providing a single-stage, nonblocking, packet-based fabric for high-density 1G, 10G and 100G line cards. Up to five fabric cards can be installed alongside the two fabrics built into the route switch processors, giving N+1 redundancy across seven fabrics. The card is hot-swappable with zero packet loss on online insertion and removal. It is designed specifically for the ASR 9910, as the SFC-T suits the ASR 9906 and the SFC2 suits the ASR 9912 and 9922.
