Description

The ASR 9900 RP3-X is a Service Edge (SE) Premium route processor for the Cisco ASR 9912 and ASR 9922 routers, fitted with 48GB of ECC-protected DRAM and running Cisco IOS XR. It supports high-density 100GbE and 400GbE line cards and is backward compatible with 3rd and 4th generation ASR 9000 line cards. Integrated timing support including BITS, IEEE 1588-2008 PTP and GPS interfaces makes it well suited to carrier-class Ethernet edge and 5G mobile transport deployments.
