Description

This route processor is designed for the fixed-chassis ASR 9900 routers, the ASR 9902 and ASR 9903, and handles control-plane, timing and management functions. It is the Flexible Consumption Model (FCM) variant, intended for deployments ordered with the ASR-9902-FC or ASR-9903-FC chassis. As a field-replaceable unit, it can be swapped in service provider and large enterprise aggregation environments, and dual route processors provide control-plane redundancy in the ASR 9903.
