Description

This 8-port 100 Gigabit Ethernet line card is a third-generation module for the Cisco ASR 9900 family. It is the Service Edge Optimized (SE) variant with enhanced QoS and OTN support, suited to carrier Ethernet and IP/MPLS service edge deployments. The card uses CPAK optics and supports online insertion and removal, so it can be fitted without disrupting the system. The Service Edge Optimized version differs from the Packet Transport Optimized (TR) line card, which provides basic QoS.
