Description

This interface module for the Cisco ASR 900 Series aggregation routers provides TDM connectivity over SONET/SDH, offering either four OC-3/STM-1 ports or one OC-12/STM-4 port using pluggable SFP optics. It is suited to converged mobile, residential and business service deployments, including circuit emulation. The module supports 1+1 SONET APS and SDH Linear MSP for link protection, and is compatible with the A900-RSP2A-128 and A900-RSP2A-64 route switch processors.
