Description

This 16-port T1/E1 TDM interface module is designed for ASR 900 Series aggregation routers. Ports are software configurable as either 16 T1 or 16 E1, and connect through a single 100-pin high-density connector that requires a breakout cable and patch panel for RJ48 or BNC termination. It suits mobile backhaul and business service deployments that need circuit emulation, offering higher port density than the 8-port A900-IMA8D and fewer ports than the 32-port A900-IMA32D.
