The Blue Cable Co CAB-RJ45-M12-10-BCC is a compatible alternative to the Cisco CAB-RJ45-M12-10=, supplied as a 2m M12 to RJ45 Ethernet cable for Cisco Catalyst IW9165 and IW9167 industrial access points. It connects the access point's M12 X-coded Ethernet connection to standard RJ45 network equipment.

A1: Yes. It uses the same M12 8-pin X-coded to RJ45 connector configuration as the Cisco part, in a 2m length. The Cisco part is 10ft (approx. 3m).

Q2: Which Cisco Catalyst IW9165 and IW9167 access points use the CAB-RJ45-M12-10 cable?
A2: Cisco lists it as an orderable accessory for the IW9165D, IW9165E, IW9167I and IW9167EH. Cisco notes the M12 adapter is not compatible with the IW9167EH-HZ.

Q3: Do I need the Cisco IW-ACC-M12ETH= adapter to use an M12 Ethernet cable on the IW9165 or IW9167?
