FAQs

Q: Do I need to budget extra power for this AOC?
A: Power draw is low and supplied by the QSFP56 ports; no external power is required.

Q: Can this connect a single 200G port to two separate 100G switches?
A: Yes, each 100G QSFP56 end can connect to a separate device, provided both support QSFP56 100G operation.

Q: Is it hot‑pluggable?
A: Yes.

Q: Does it work with QSFP28-only 100G ports?
A: No. It requires QSFP56-capable 100G ports that support PAM4 signaling.

Q: Any fiber patch cords needed?
A: No. It’s an integrated cable with QSFP56 ends.
