Description

This 10GBASE-ER BiDi SFP+ transceiver delivers 10G Ethernet over a single strand of single-mode fibre at distances up to 40 km. It transmits at 1330 nm and receives at 1270 nm through an LC simplex connector, which halves the fibre count compared with a dual-fibre optic. It is the -D end of a BiDi pair and must be matched with the opposite end operating at Tx1270/Rx1330 nm. It suits long-reach campus, metro and data centre interconnect links where fibre strands are limited.
