The Arista QSFP-AMP-ZR-Arista is a pluggable EDFA optical amplifier module designed for Arista's ZR Line System. This QSFP-DD form factor amplifier extends the reach of 400ZR coherent modules from 40km to 120km or beyond, enabling high-capacity DWDM transmission up to 3.2 Tb/s over a single fiber pair when multiplexing up to 8x 400ZR modules. It provides both pre-amplification and booster amplification in a single pluggable module that can be directly deployed in compatible Arista switch routers.
