Description

The Arista QSFP-40G-SRBD-R is a bidirectional 40GBASE-SR BiDi QSFP+ optical transceiver designed for short-reach data center and enterprise network applications. It transmits 40 Gbps over duplex multimode fiber using bidirectional optics at 850nm and 900nm wavelengths, supporting distances up to 100m on OM3 or 150m on OM4 fiber. The duplex LC connector allows reuse of existing 10G fiber infrastructure, eliminating the need for costly parallel fiber upgrades while delivering full 40 Gigabit Ethernet performance.
