Description

The Arista QSFP-40G-SRBD is a 40GBASE-BIDI bidirectional QSFP+ optical transceiver designed for short-reach data center connectivity. Using bidirectional optics over duplex LC fiber, it supports up to 100m over OM3 or 150m over OM4 multimode fiber. This module multiplexes 4x10G lanes into two 20Gb/s channels, enabling 40GbE over standard duplex LC cabling without requiring costly parallel fiber infrastructure.
