This 100G QSFP28 optical transceiver supports 100GBASE-LRL4 (MSA) over duplex single-mode fibre. It uses LAN-WDM wavelengths in the 1295-1310 nm range to deliver links up to 2 km through a duplex LC connector. It suits short-reach 100G switch and router uplinks in data centre and campus environments where the extended reach of LRL4 is needed over standard single-mode cabling.
