The Arista QDD-400G-SR8-C is a high-performance 400GBASE-SR8 QSFP-DD optical transceiver designed for short-reach data center interconnects. Operating at 850nm over multi-mode fiber with an MPO-16 connector, it supports transmission distances up to 100m on OM4 fiber. This channelized variant provides enhanced flexibility with breakout support for 400G, 2x200G-SR4, 8x50G-SR, or 8x25G-SR configurations, making it ideal for high-density spine-leaf architectures and AI cluster deployments.
