Description

This 460W DC power supply unit is designed for Arista 7124SX, 7050, 7150 and 7048-A series switches. It uses reverse (rear-to-front) airflow, making it suited to data centre racks where cooling is directed from the rear of the equipment. The hot-swappable design allows a unit to be replaced or added in redundant power configurations without taking the switch offline, and the DC input suits facilities with DC power distribution.

Enquire with XS Network Tech for new or used pricing and availability.

FAQs

Q: Which Arista switches is this power supply designed for?
A: The PWR-460DC-R is intended for Arista 7124SX, 7050, 7150 and 7048-A series switches.

Q: What does R2F airflow mean?
A: R2F stands for rear-to-front, also called reverse airflow. Cooling air is drawn in at the rear of the unit and exhausted towards the front, so it should match the airflow direction of the other components in the chassis and rack.

Q: Is this a DC or AC power supply?
A: It is a 460W DC input power supply, intended for installations with DC power distribution.

Q: Can it be replaced while the switch is running?
A: Yes. The unit is hot-swappable, so it can be installed or replaced in a redundant power configuration without powering down the switch.
