Description

High-density 1/10GbE SFP+ top-of-rack switch for leaf/spine and server aggregation. Non-PoE design with wire-speed L2/L3 forwarding under EOS. Modular hot-swap fan trays and power supplies are required and must be airflow-matched (not included). Ideal for low-latency data center fabrics and flexible automation.

Q: Do I need fans and power supplies?
A: Yes. This chassis requires compatible hot-swappable fan modules and PSUs, which are not included. Airflow on fans and PSUs must match.

Q: Are there dedicated uplink ports?
A: No. All 52 interfaces are SFP+ data ports that support 1/10GbE optics and cables.

Q: What optics are supported?
A: SFP and SFP+ modules for 1G/10G, including SR/LR/ER where supported, plus passive/active DAC and AOC cables.

Q: Is a software license required?
A: Base L2/L3 features operate under EOS without a separate feature license. SmartNet-style subscriptions are not required for operation.

Q: Does it support stacking?
A: It does not use proprietary chassis stacking. Redundancy and scale are achieved via MLAG and leaf/spine designs under EOS.

Q: What is the difference between this and the -D variant?
A: The -D variant includes an internal 50GB SSD for local storage; this base model does not.
