Description

The Arista 7020R Series DCS-7020TRA-48-F is a 1RU data centre switch built for top-of-rack and leaf deployments that connect 1G servers to a 10G leaf-spine fabric. A deep packet buffer with Virtual Output Queues per port suits workloads that need heavy buffering, such as big data, cloud and virtualised designs.

It provides 48 x 100/1000 Mb RJ45 ports (non-PoE) and 6 x 1/10GbE SFP+ uplinks, delivering up to 216 Gbps of throughput and 162 Mpps of forwarding with a 3 GB packet buffer. This variant adds AlgoMatch support, uses front-to-rear airflow and is fitted with two hot-swap AC power supplies in a 1+1 redundant arrangement. Typical power draw is 115 W, with a maximum of 125 W.

The SFP+ ports accept 10GBASE-CR, AOC, SR, SRL, LR, LRL, ER, ZR and DWDM optics, as well as 1GbE SX/LX and 100/1000BASE-T modules. The switch runs Arista EOS 4.19.1 or later and can be managed with CloudVision.
