This 5m 10GBASE-CR direct attach cable uses passive twinax copper with SFP+ connectors on both ends, delivering 10 Gbps links between SFP+ ports. It suits short-reach connections between switches, servers and NICs within or between adjacent racks, offering a cost-effective alternative to optical transceivers and fibre for in-rack and neighbouring-rack runs.
